Michael Gerard Austin-Smith QC, Master of the Bench sadly died on Monday 15 August, aged 77. The Inns' flag flew at half-mast on Thursday 20 September in his memory.
John Bedford Deby QC, Master of the Bench sadly died on Saturday 30 July, aged 90. The Inn’s flag flew at half-mast on Thursday 18 August, in his memory. The funeral has taken place at 10am on Tuesday 23 August at Putney Vale Crematorium.
Sir Edward Evans-Lombe, Master of the Bench sadly died on Friday 20 May, aged 85. the Inn's flag flew at half-mast on Tuesday 24 May, in his memory.
Murray Pickering QC, Master of the Bench sadly died on Wednesday 11 May, aged 87. The Inn's flag flew at half-mast on Tuesday 17 May, in his memory. A memorial service has taken place in the Temple Church at 6pm on Tuesday 18 October.
Stanley Brodie QC, a previous Treasurer of the Inn sadly died on Tuesday 3 May, aged 91. The Inn's flag flew at half-mast on Thursday 5 May, in his memory.
The Honorable Martin L.C. Feldman, Master of the Bench sadly died on Wednesday 26 January, aged 87. The Inn's flag flew at half-mast on Thursday 3 February, in his memory.
His Honour Judge Alastair McCreath, Master of the Bench sadly died on Sunday 30 January, aged 73. The Inn's flag flew at half-mast on Wednesday 2 February, in his memory. A funeral service for Master McCreath has taken place on Thursday 24 February 2022. A memorial service has taken place in the Tempel Church on 19 May at 6pm.

Gordon Pollock QC, Master of the Bench sadly died on 11 April 2019, aged 76. A celebration of the life and career of Gordon Pollock QC will take place at 6pm on Wednesday 29 June 2022 at the Old Hall in Lincoln's Inn. All are welcome.
Professor William Cornish, Bencher of Gray's Inn, sadly died on 8 January 2022

The Rt Hon Lord Millett, Treasurer of Lincoln's Inn, died on 27 May 2021. There will be a memorial service and reception on Wednesday 8 June 2022 at 5pm in the Great Hall, Lincoln's Inn.
Sir Thomas Stockdale BT, Bencher of Lincoln's Inn, died on 28 October 2021, aged 82. There is to be a memorial service for Sir Thomas on Thursday 10 March at 5pm in the Lincoln’s Inn Chapel followed by a reception in the Old Hall.
Sir Stuart McKinnon, Bencher of Lincoln's Inn, died on 28 February 2022, aged 83.

Middle Temple
Admiral of the Fleet The Lord Boyce KG GCB OBE DL, Bencher of Middle Temple, sadly died on 6 November 2022, aged 79. We have been advised that the family will hold a private funeral service and there will be a memorial service in the coming months, the details of which will be in The Times and The Telegraph.
