This panel discussion will include discussion on the tension between public health and personal autonomy, differences in and legal challenges to legislative/executive covid rule making, federalism and devolution issues arising from differing federal, state and local requirements or restrictions, the impact of COVID-19 on the administration of justice, and judicial deference to executive decision-making on COVID-19. Amity Visit members and their guests will be joined by members of the American Inns of Court and guests of the Library of Congress.
