Joint Gray's Inn and Inner Temple Amity Visit to Washington D.C.
Monday 12 – Friday 16 September 2022
The Joint Amity Visit Programme includes the following optional and core programme events. Attendance at optional events is highly encouraged – core events must be attended by all Inn members. Guests of members are most welcome to attend any programme events and particularly the core events. American lawyers, judges and guests have been invited to join all programmed events through our contacts at the American Inns of Court.
We have deliberately left time in the schedule for member-led and personal exploration of Washington D.C. as it is a city packed with museums, attractions, history and restaurants, and Amity is often fostered well in informal or cultural surroundings.
These events are only open to members and their guests who are registered for the Joint Inner Temple and Gray’s Inn Amity Visit to Washington D.C. in September 2022. Registrations for the Amity Visit are now closed. If you have not had confirmation of your place on the Amity Visit for you (and your guest, if applicable), please do not attempt to book a place on these events.
Programme
For all who wish to attend, Inner Temple member Judge Dr Victoria McCloud, is organising a group to attend Roman Catholic Mass and engage in fellowship at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle on Sunday 11 September immediately before the Amity Visit, when many attendees will have arrived in DC. It is estimated that around 50 guests could be accommodated for Mass and 25 for lunch (subject to the restaurant).
