Middle Temple and The Inner Temple will each put on 1 hour of Shakespeare, with a winner declared by a panel of celebrity judges. Shakespeare himself put on performances in Middle Temple Hall, Twelfth Night being premiered there in 1602. 'Putting the Case or Challenging the Truth: Effective Cross-Examination in International Trials and Arbitrations' A panel of international practitioners and judges will present on cross-examination in international criminal cases, arbitral proceedings and from the civil perspective. Covering how best to approach cross-examination of witnesses of fact vs experts and witness proofing, procedural fairness, differing evidentiary standards, and highlighting distinguishing features of cross-examination practice. A conversation between The Hon Mrs Justice Arbuthnot and Cyrus Larizadeh KC on the use of experts, intermediaries, interpreters, court orders, sitting remotely and other issues in the Family Division of the High Court.
